Wellcome Collection - Guardrail Site Survey & Prototyping
As part of our work at the Wellcome Collection, we recently completed the site survey of the existing balustrade to inform the design of a bespoke guardrail extension.
To refine the details and ensure a seamless connection with the existing structure, we developed and tested a series of prototypes. These mock-ups allowed us to explore form, proportions, and construction methods, helping shape the final design.
This process ensured the new guardrail balances functionality, precision, and a careful response to the character of the space.
